
June Meeting: The 2012 Transit of Venus – a retrospective
Our meetings include brief business, a main presentation and items of astronomical news or learning from members. The June meeting will focus on the 2012 Transit of Venus, the last such transit for another 95 years! An introduction and explanation of transits will be followed by images and stores from various outreach events help for the Transit.
The June 2022 meeting is planned to be a face-to-face meeting; attendees can also join in online via Zoom. Details emailed to members. Guests/visitors can contact us for Zoom details at .
