The Astronomical Association of Queensland (AAQ) is pleased to announce that grants from the Edward Corbould Research Fund (ECRF) will be made available to fund astronomical research by Australian amateur astronomers commencing in July 2020. Applications for funding up to the value of $10,000 are invited, to be received by the AAQ General Secretary no later than 31 March 2020.
The Queensland Astrofest has been the major star party in Queensland since its inception in 1993, and is open to all amateur astronomers.

Glen Rock National Park campground which is about 45k south of Gatton. Good dark skies but no power. During the week it is freqently deserted.
Elevated lookout with views over flat plains to Great Dividing Range. Easy drive from southern parts of Brisbane.
