AAQ Excursions

The AAQ organises, as the opportunity arises, excursions to sites of astronomical interest for its members. Some recent excursions are:

  • April 1999 - Astrotour to Anglo-Australian Observatory at Siding Springs and the Australia Telescope at Narrabri.

  • April 2000 - South East Queensland Astrotour.

  • June 2001 - Solar Eclipse Safari to Zimbabwe and South Africa.

  • December 2002 - Solar Eclipse Trip to Ceduna. South Australia.

  • May 2005 - Jondaryan Woolshed Deep Sky Observing Weekend.

Total Solar Eclipse Safari, March 2006
