AAQ Field Nights

Beanland Street Park

How To Get There

The AAQ Lunar & Planetary Field Night will be held at Beanland Street Park, Jamboree Heights. The park has two levels. The upper level is closest to Beanland Street and offers a sealed tennis practice court on which to set up telescopes. At one end of the practice court is a wall which will shield you from a street light if you wish to set up on the grass. The lower level offers a darker location but a longer distance to take equipment.

Parking is available at the kerbside next to the park boundary, and in a gravel car park at the end of Beanland street. Beware the potholes at the entrance to the gravel park! The kerbside parks are closest to the sealed practice court.

Directions on how to get there are given below.
